Encouragement! The pulmonologist is more optimistic than the other doctors have been. He doesn't seem to think that the high carbon dioxide level would have caused damage or long-term problems.

That being said, they still just want him to rest today. And so we keep waiting and hoping. (Although it's just a little bit easier now.)

  1. Continuing to pray. So glad you are keeping us so informed. I believe God is going to give all of you (including David) a tremendous testimony through this. Remember, God has David in his hand and in his heart and, I believe, will not let him go. Satan will assail you with doubts, but "greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world". Know you are all very special to us. Let us know how we can pray for you as a family as well.
    Love,
    Cindy

  2. Dear Rachel, I have had extermely high (+400) levels of CO2 and came through the experience quite well. I know that it is really rough on you especially because you know by experience in your life, and though it is a anixous time for you and your familly, David is being bathed with prayer, and God is faithful. Thanks for the updates--you are not alone by no means!
